The Monts de Vaucluse
The “Monts de Vaucluse” are a vast plateau of over than 1,000 meters thick of compact limestone, mostly covered by white oak, holm oak and beech forests. This large limestone plateau dug of numerous sinkholes, where disappear rainwaters, feeds the spring of “Fontaine de Vaucluse”, the first spring of France by its flow.
