In the small Buye valley lying below, coal was mined in the 19th and 20th centuries. This was one of the small outcrops in the Luberon that man succeeded in discovering and mining. Over time, there were many others - in fact, 15 mineral resources useful to man were mined in the Apt basin, some precious, others base. Press on "Listen" to find out more.
